The Entrepreneur Experiment Community

In early 2021, I’ll be launching the private EE community. This is your sneak peek and reward for being in the newsletter.

I’ve been hinting at this for a while now but all the plans are now in place to create our very own community and member space.

EE Online will be a closed network limited to just 250 members and it will be a paid community. Price is TBC but members on the waitlist will get a discount.

Join Waitlist here.

Momentum Challenge Update

Day 19/42 of our lockdown Momentum Challenge. In the last week, I’ve mixed it up with some sea swimming (not as cold as you imagine), beach running, and for the first time in about 10 years, road cycling.

I’m working with Parallel Nutrition on the food side of things to keep me on track. The crew at Parallel are supplying me with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You order from the lads, and they drop your meals twice weekly.

Add me on Instagram and share with me what you are working on for lockdown.

A YouTube channel about concrete?

I’ve shared a lot of unusual content with you but this is right up there. I stumbled across a bizarre YouTube channel this week called Ashville. It’s run by Daniel Louisy, the owner of Ashville, a UK based construction and waste management business.

His channel is blowing up after a video he made, “A Day In The Life of a Construction Entrepreneur” went viral. It has 1.2 million views.

So why is this interesting? The content is well made, he is a charismatic guy and shows the work ethic required to own your own business.

I’m sharing it as it reinforces 2 things I’ve been saying on the pod for a long, long time.

  1. Riches in niches

  2. Document your journey.

I go into detail about both these points on today’s podcast so jump here to watch or here to listen.

This Week

Listening

If you enjoyed ‘The Social Dilemma’ on Netflix, Joe' Rogan’s chat with its creator, Tristan Harris is a great listen. They explore the impact excessive mobile phone/social media use is having on us.

Watching

As mentioned above, “Day In The Life of a Construction Entrepreneur” on YouTube. Oddly relaxing viewing.

Reading

Lifespan by Dr. David Sinclair. This book is about ageing and how the author believes we can do many things to extend our life. Wellness and longevity medicine is an area that interests me massively. I’m 50% through it. It’s heavy going in parts as it goes heavy on academic research. I’ll do a full post about it when I’m finished.

The podcast goes live at 5 am every Monday and Thursday.

This Week’s Interview

Seany McCleary was my guest on the podcast this week. Seany is the brains behind Blasta Street Food and his newly launched venture, Streat School. His new business provides people with everything to launch their own food truck/trailer business. Listen to the episode here.
